Nails of the Week: Go Go Power Rangers!

I was feeling nostalgic the other night and was thinking about how lame I used to be for liking Power Rangers and thought “why not do Power Ranger Nails?!” so I did! :P

It was a toss up between Power Rangers or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles… but I didn’t have green so Power Rangers it was! ^_^ Besides, I was such a Pink Ranger Fan! <3

I was going to do the helmet but it looked too hard and when I thought of how to do that Black Power Ranger and I was stuck so I just did their uniform. When I was googling images, their uniforms were always different! :( I chose the most easiest one :P - Laziness FTL >.<

Materials I used:

1. Base Coat
2. Blue Polish (it was a little darker than I hoped)
3. Pink Polish
4. Red Polish
5. Yellow Polish
6. Black Polish
7. White Polish with a Long Tip
8. Black Polish with a Long Tip
9. Top Coat

I started off witha Base Coat. I forgot to take a photo of my left hand so I took a photo of my other hand since I had already started painting my left hand >.<

I started off with 2 coats of:

• Thumb: Blue Polish
• Index Finger: Pink Polish
• Middle Finger: Red Polish
• Ring Finger: Yellow Polish
• Pinky: Black Polish

Using the White Polish with a Long Tip, I dres 3 Diamonds across the centre of each nail.

Again using the White Polish with a Long Tip, I drew 2 lines at the tips of each nail (to create the belt).

Using the White Polish with a Long Tip, draw a circle in the middle of the lines at the top of you nail (to create the belt buckle).

I didn’t have any gold polish, so I used a Black Polish with a Long Tip to add detail.

I sealed it with a top coat.

At first I didn’t think anyone would even be able to tell what it was so I rushed downstairs, flashed my hands in my brother’s face and asked him what he thought it was and he said “Power Rangers” YAY! \o/ A part of me wants to watch the movie again, then I think about how funny and believable they were to me when I was younger, I didn’t want to lose that awesomeness my mind thinks it is.
